Street Fighter x Kidrobot

Kidrobot once again reaffirms its position as a powerhouse licensed toy company with the July release of their Street Fighter series. Not to discredit their own inline offerings, however we’ve seen some heavyweight collaborations come about in Kidrobot’s past including of course Futurama and The Simpsons. Capcom’s Street Fighter essentially defined a generation of gamers and despite its 2D qualities, the style of gameplay has held up for many years resulting in almost 30 million copies sold globally. The debut collection will roundup all the familiar faces with 12 individual characters in 3-inch vinyl format. The collection will release on July 7 through select retailers at a cost of $9.95 USD per blind box (£7.90 GBP/€9.20 EUR).

A Bathing Ape x Mark McNairy Capsule Collection Preview

Mark McNairy lends his skills to A Bathing Ape by creating these two shoe collaborations. The first is a chukka desert boot that features an all-over A Bathing Ape 1st yellow camo upper whilst the second is a longwing brogue that utilizes the camo in a slightly more subtle way alongside the more traditional longwing styling. McNairy has added his trademark red sole design and both models will also be made in England, as with all McNairy shoes. Although not actually part of the Mr. Bathing Ape line, they would certainly fit in with that collection as well. Due for release in the next few months at A Bathing Ape stores, the chukkas have a retail price of ¥34,440 (approximately $428 USD) whilst the longwing brogues will sell for ¥37,590 (approximately $467 USD).

MYKITA AVRUM Sunglasses

A new model to emerge from German eyewear brand is the AVRUM. The sunglass style features a distinct two tone style which was given a runway showcase thanks to the models at the Alexandre Herchcovitch Spring/Summer 2011 show. The initial run will include two variations in red/off white and dark purple/off white. Look for the AVRUMs to hit select MYKITA stockists globally.
