New Ipods For Everyone

The nano also comes standard with a clip on the back so it can be snapped anywhere on your person. I was kind of kidding before about the size of the nano resembling a watch face, but I can easily see a market for nano watchbands that turn this elegant little device into a timepiece. The new iPod nanos drop next week. The 8GB model is $149 and the 16GB model is $179. There will be seven color choices, including a (Product) Red model exclusive to Apple Stores.

The iPod Touch line picked up a host of new features that inch it closer to the iPhone 4. Like the iPhone 4, the Touch now uses Apple's HD-esque Retina display. FaceTime video calling is made possible on the Touch with the inclusion of a front-facing camera, but Apple also placed a second camera on the rear of the device for taking photos and videos. The Touch takes HD video (up to 720P quality), just like the iPhone 4.

But it's not just the exterior of the Touch that changes. The new Touch models now sport the powerful A4 processor found inside the iPhone 4 and iPad, which Apple believes makes it the most powerful portable gaming rig on the planet. And to make sure gaming is very much a core feature of the Touch, it has added the iPhone 4's gyroscope for increased tilt control accuracy. The change in internal architecture allowed Apple to shrink the iPod Touch even more, too. The new Touch is now just 7.2 millimeters thick (the svelte iPhone 4 is only 9.3mm). It retains the curved edge design of the previous iPod Touch and iPhone models – it does not use the flat design of the iPhone 4.

The new iPod Touch models are priced at 8GB for $229, 32GB for $299, and 64GB for $399.

Xbox 360: New Wireless Controller Unveiled by Microsoft

Microsoft is looking to debut their new Xbox 360 controller with a transforming D-pad in November, according to a company announcement on Tuesday.

The controller has a different color scheme than traditional Xbox controllers, sporting a gray and black background with black and white buttons rather than the traditional white design with multi-colored buttons.

The controller’s most standout feature is its D-pad, which can be rotated from a “plus” format to a “disc” format. The “plus” format is more effective for directional moves, while the “disc” format can be used for sweeping moves.

“The engineers went back into the laboratory and came up with this ingenious solution,” Xbox Live programming director Larry Hryb said in a video. "It is a revolutionary D-pad that transforms from a disc into a plus…with the twist of a hand."

Other features include 2.4-Ghz wireless technology with a range of 30 feet. The controller comes with a Play and Charge cable for constant use with 35 hours of play per charge.

The controller will be available on November 9 in the US for $64.99 with the Play and Charge Kit.

Bape Crape

The Bape Crape is a sporty looking lifestyle shoe that plays off of the PUMA silhouette with great results. They are introducing the model in a number of new attention getting color ways. The sued uppered shoe is set to release in blue/neon, brown/red and red/blue. The soles are somewhere between gum and off white and each shoe features that shooting star logo on the side panel with a white lining. The material used for the logo is a glossy patent leather which comes to great effect paired against the suede. Via STREEThing

Jordan Brand in NBA 2K11

NBA 2K11 is a pretty big deal. The video game series always gets love but this year it looks as if Mr. Jordan himself has signed on to license his likeness meaning that you can now access his entire catalog of signature sneakers. As game play would have it over 40 Jordan Brand sneakers will be available once you unlock the hidden sneakers by scoring points. How many of you will be on the couch playing this when it drops? The Marty Mcfly's

If there was one Nike shoe that I have wanted since I was a kid, it would have to be Nike’s Air Mag worn by Michael J Fox in Back To The Future. However, I had given up hope and figured that I would not get a chance to see them until 2015, if at all. However, as the year gets closer, things are starting to pop up that give me a little bit of hope that they will be released. One such thing is this patent application for a shoe with an automatic lacing system. Now while this is by no means a clear sign of the Nike Air Mag actually being released, it does put a little hope in my heart that it will. Check out some details from the application below, or flash back with us and check out the McFly version of the Hypderdunk.
