Nixon “The Genie” Watch

LRG Co-Founder Jonas Bevacqua Dies at 34

Bevacqua co-founded LRG (which stands for Lifted Research Group) in 1999 with Richard Wright. The duo enjoyed unparalleled success due to their innovative ideas and creative mixtures of urban and skate culture. LRG reported sales figures of $150 million in 2006 and was ranked #5 on Entrepreneur Magazine’s 2007 Hot 500 list of fastest-growing companies.

Offered up is a look into the new Baby Milo Clear Bapex from A Bathing Ape. Featuring a clear body, the watch uses a lightweight polycarbonate case while highlighting its official mascot Baby Milo on the faceplate. Accenting the timepiece are hits of orange, white and black, which match up well with Baby Milo’s brown colorway. Look for this latest release to drop on June 5, 2011.
Rumor: Kanye West Working on High-End Fashion Label
Rumors state that Kanye West is currently living in Paris in an attempt to launch a new high-end clothing line for men and women. An initial showing of the range is slated to be presented in September 2011 for the Spring/Summer 2012 season. This latest rumor comes as no surprise following Kanye’s much-hyped but never officially released Pastelle label from a couple of years back. Stay tuned for further developments.
